This is the care of children from babies up to the age of twelve years, for longer than two hours, by persons who are not a close relative, for reward, must be regulated under the terms of the Day Care of Children (Jersey) Law 2002.

Day Care Registration, a department within Education, Sport and Culture, register all day nurseries, pre-schools, school aged care and Family Day Carers under the Day Care of Children (Jersey) Law,  2002.
